Le Puy à Vins: new restaurant in Le Puy Notre Dame

Le Puy à Vins is a newly opened restaurant in Le Puy Notre-Dame, which has been recommended by Michaela and Sue of La Grande Maison. The new venture is run by David Beaufreton, who rattles the pots and pans, and Romain Amblard, who is in charge of selecting the wine etc.

The restaurant is open midday and evening from Tuesday to Saturday with lunch time menus between 12€-16€. The wines are all from the Loire with an emphasis on the local wines within a 20 kilometre radius and organic and biodynamic wines strongly represented. The list does venture as far as Montlouis (Weisskopf and Jacky Blot) and Savennières (Damien Laureau) but no further than 100km from Le Puy. There are also a couple of artisanal beers listed.
