#EWBC: Istanbul – photos around the city, esp The Grand Bazaar

 Spices

Have had a quiet time in Istanbul chilling out after the rigours of the EWBC and the post-trip to Georgia. In part because, like some others on the trip, I have had a mildish version of Uncle Joe Stalin's revenge, so have been reluctant to venture too far from our hotel. But we have been out and about including a visit to the Grand Bazaar on Saturday.

 Dried fruits

Bought some teas here. See selection below

Jim, Super-pictures – once again !
I posted on a similar topic this morning (http://coumemajou.jimdo.com/2012/11/20/il-ne-pense-qu-à-manger/).
Just had: Vin de Voile (Plageoles’ answer to the Jerez versions) + a very interesting old carignan + .... aromatic herbs planted in the Tarn area.
Old Stalin’s doom is on me again (Léon !) .
Hope there aren’t too many typos,’cause te message’s there.
I recommend latest James Bond movie on the same issue.
What about spices for the mother-f.....r ? Maybe mandragora, ginseng, oysters will do the same.
Siesta due soon.
Enjoy.
