#TDF13: Another victory for Marcel Kittel, Cav loses out again, GC showdown

German sprinter Marcel Kittel won yesterday's sprint at Saint Malo just edging out André Griepel with Mark Cavendish and Peter Sagan. This doubles Kittel's Tour stage wins to two, while Cavendish remains on 24 – one off joint third place overall.

This is becoming a frustrating Tour for Mark Cavendish. When he won in Marseilles it looked as though he would go on to take his usual tally of four or more stages wins but it hasn't worked out that way. His Omega Pharma Quickstep lead out team that worked so well in Marseilles faltered badly yesterday as well as in Montpellier.  In the sprint Cav clashed with Tom Veelers with Veelers ending up on the tarmac.

Today is another day for the GC riders with the 33 kilometre time trial. It will be a big surprise if Chris Froome doesn't consolidate his time advantage over his leading rivals today.
