Benoit Courault: the excellent Le petit chemin

Benoit Courault: Le petit chemin, vin de france

It may be a 'petit chemin' but this 2011 from Benoit Courault is a very attractive, fresh, clean, zippy and deliciously uncomplicated Chenin Blanc.

Courault is based in Faye d'Anjou and is one of the emerging younger generation of vignerons. There is a fine detailed profile of Benoit here posted last year on Bertrand Celce's very impressive site.

Supplier: Les Caves de Pyrène
