Concentrating mainly but not exclusively on the Loire's vineyards, its vignerons and their wines along with places to eat and stay. Also covers some recently published wine books – not just from Loire. Regional Chair for Loire @Decanter's World Wine Awards since its inception. Winner of the 2009 Wine Blog Trophy (journalist category) Salon des Vins de Loire. I have a large and expanding library of photos, particularly from the Loire – places, producers, vineyards etc. European.

I think it should be fair to mention that subventions are split into sub groups and that the Gite comes under Tourisme and not Patrimoine (for which the church would come under)
See below a portion of the subventions :
Tourisme : 81.000 € à des projets de modernisation de l'accueil des touristes, dont 32.127 € au restaurant « Le Château de Pray » à Chargé et 45.000 € pour la création d'un gîte de groupe à Épeigné-les-Bois.
Patrimoine : 107.000 € de subventions, dont 26.000 € pour la restauration de la Porte royale de Loches, 21.971 € pour les travaux de l'église Saint-Vincent de Neuvy-le-Roi.
