Tour of the Western Isles: Harris

We spent our last full day on the Outer Isles wandering around Harris, which along with Barra we have found the most beautiful of the islands.

Sadly there are a number of abandoned old houses around the islands. Apparently builders are very reluctant to take on restoration jobs, preferring to put up new build which are easier to assemble. It would be good to see this trend at least partly reversed as many of these stone houses have much more character than the new builds.
