Twinned with Juchepie

Toasting the jumelage with one of Eddy's excellent Layons

As of yesterday Jim's Loire is now officially twinned with Domaine de Juchepie of Faye d'Anjou in the Layon Valley. The twinning was announced by Jim and Eddy wearing the same shirt – one of a series from the New Orléans Jazz Festival.

There were some observers that thought this was entirely a coincidence – that Eddy was looking to compete shirt-wise. Actually not the case at all as Eddy bought his shirt at the auction at the end of the 2014 Bourgueillothérapie as Ludo Ragot had asked me to donate a shirt for charity. I made sure we bought two shirts – one for the auction and the other for me to wear. Then on Sunday at the Renaissance tasting Eddy and I agreed the day that we would both wear the umbrella shirts at the Salon.
