European Wine Bloggers' Conference 2011 (#EWBC): Ca' del Bosco dégorgement contest

Brett Jones: the instant of victory!

Yesterday during the visit to Ca' del Bosco our hosts unveiled the latest Olympic sport – competitive dégorgement, which is likely to be a highlight of the 2012 London games. The object is to remove the crown cap and expel the sediment, while losing as little of the sparkling wine as possible. It is sure to be among the highlights of next year's London games.
