Last Sunday evening was Fado night@the Festa Freguesia de Santa Isabel with appearances from Maria Amelia Procença, Nani Nadais, Vîtor Duarte and Margarida Soeiro.

We caught the Lucky Duckies set last night at the Festa Freguesia de Santa Isabel. The Lucky Duckies are a very good nostalgia band fronted by Marco Antonio R. Fernandes with Claudia Faria, as the female vocalist. They played a good two hours covering standards by Elvis, The Big Bopper, The Beatles, The Stones, Del Shannon, Boby Vee, Frank Sinatra, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bill Haley, The Swinging Blue Jeans amongst others.

One Love Family@the Festa of Santa Isabel, Lisboa

Last evening we dropped round to catch part of One Love Family's extended set at the Festa of Santa Isabel, which is running over this weekend. Later today it is the Lucky Duckies – 25 Anos from 21h. although it probably actually starts later. Friendly and relaxed neighbourhood festival.
