2017 Salon des Vins de Loire – Sunday 5th February

Bertrand Minchin, Menetou-Salon and Valençay

Bertrand was particularly badly hit by frost in Menetou in 2016

making virtually no wine.

Was impressed by Bertrand's 2015 Fumet and 2015 Honorine 

– two Menetous from very different terroirs

The Pellés were badly hit by 2016 frosts in Menetou-Salon

Hardly surprising that both Carine and Stéphane Sérol 

(Domaine Sérol) are smiling – 2016 was a 

very good vintage in the Côte Roannaise

liked the 2016 Tressalier

When I first started coming to Anjou 

and the Salon des Vins de Loire Pascal 

had just taken over the family domaine. 

Pascal continues to be enthusiastic and making good wine

Le Salon Les Anges Vins 26th-27th November Saint Aubin de Luigné  C'est un salon de dégustation et de vente de vins, organisé par une vingtaine de vignerons d'Anjou qui élaborent des vins issus de l'agriculture biologique. C'est la 11ème édition de ce salon et il se tiendra les 26, 27 et 28 novembre 2016 à la Salle Jean de Pontoise à Saint Aubin de Luigné (Maine et Loire).

C'est l’occasion de découvrir les vins de toute une génération de vignerons pionniers du vin issu de l’agriculture biologique : Herbel, Mosse, Oosterlinck, Pithon-Paillé, PZ, Rochard, Saurigny, Ménard, Baudouin, Chaffardon, Chéné, Courault, Daviau, Garnier, Dervieux, Cousin, Bainbridge. Ils seront accompagnés de vignerons invités Marie Thibault vigneronne en Touraine et Gérard Marula vigneron à Chinon.
