Guillaume Aubert of Aubert & Mascoli Wines

Guillaume Aubert of Aubert & Mascoli Wines was showing a few from his list at Neals Yard (Stanworth Street). He had a couple from Domaine de l'Ocre at Dions near Nîmes: the attractive and easy drinking 2007 Le Rouge vin de table (blend of Cinsault, Syrah and Grenache: £12.50) and  2007 Perle Rose, Pétillant Naturel (Pinot Noir: £17) – delicate red fruits but quite pricy for this increasingly fashionable style. Guillaume was quite serious in front of the camera until I reminded him that France had beaten England during the week.
