Saint-Bacchus: photo memory from the 1990s


For a number of years during the 1990s I was invited by the Comité  des Vins du Roussillon to judge and attend their Saint-Bacchus event, which was organised by Christine Ontivero. This photo of the group (above) has appeared on Facebook this evening.

Première Fête des Vieux Cépages: Trilla – 21 Juillet


The Première Fête des Vieux Cépages will be held this Saturday in Trilla, a very pretty village high up in the hills of Roussillon. This first edition is being organised by the well known German wine writer, André Dominé, who has lived in Trilla for many years. The Vieux Cépages is part of Trilla's 4th edition of its annual fête.
