'Best Blog Post of the Year' – Finalist in Wine Blog Awards

I'm delighted to have been shortlisted for the 2012 Best Blog Post of the Year at the Wine Blog Awards. My congratulations to all shortlisted in this category as well as the other categories. Details are here.

There are a number of associated posts leading up to Francisco 'Pancho' Campo resigning his MW. Here are a selection: No Pay No Jay, Robert Parker's reaction to 'this blogger, and The Institute of Masters of Wine launch an investigation into Pancho Campo.

Rather than bloggers entering these awards, they are nominated. My post reporting Pancho Campo's resignation as an MW has made the final.

The organisers of the award appear to have decided it is still winter in the northern hemisphere and so have used the winter spelling of my surname.
