Baile out of Surbiton and East Sheen@Ex-Seller
Ex-Cellar shop@East Sheen with closing down sale from Twitpic (newgenwines)
Reports and pics on Twitter show that two of the five ex-Oddbins shops that Simon Baile's Ex Cellar Ltd bought in May will closing shortly. The East Sheen and Surbiton branches both have closing down 40% off sales. Records at Companies House shows that the latest company accounts are overdue – they should have been filed by 30th September 2011.

Then one in Summertown in Oxford was all closed up with grills down and looked very much closed this Monday at lunchtime
Thanks Andrew. Jim
This is all part of Mr Baile's plan. Not content with demolishing a British iconic brand this vulture is now bleeding any last bit of cash he can get out of it. Reports are he's not paying rent on these leases and he's selling stock bought from the Oddbins administrators. Why would he care if they close down? All his assets are secure.
Anon. Do you have any proof for your assertions please?
Is he going to be front page of OLN???
again????
In less than 6 months....???
This guy deserves an Oscar for directing that movie...When it's gone it's gone....
the one at canonbury is also going out of the business...
Thanks anon. Is the Farringdon store still open, anyone?
hooray, more businesses going bust and more people out of work. Happy christmas.
Being sarcastic of course as it seems that the desire to see Baile undone extends to the employees in the shops.
I think he is opening some of the stores elsewhere with lower rents.
Has to be said that with rents and supermarkets its hard for wine shops even ones owned by people who have robbed their suppliers and the tax man.
Excellar in administration today.
What a waste of space that Simon Baile
