Brett Jones raises prostate cancer awareness@Trafalgar Square

Brett Jones, the wine maestro, spent an hour this evening atop the fourth plinth in London's Trafalgar Square raising awareness of the threat of prostate cancer conducting a wine tasting while highlighting mortality rates from the disease. Click here for the charity Prostate UK.

Thanks, Jim, for posting this and the previous post to highlight the event - the only wine tasting so far that's been held on the plinth, we believe.

A piece of related wine trivia: no glass is allowed on the plinth, so Brett decanted the five wines into plastic water bottles and tasted out of a plastic glass. Leftovers from those plastic water bottles were in my fridge and I've just re-tasted them. All seem to be in perfectly decent condition (mind you, that's after a day of tasting Argentinian wines).
