I thought we were going to miss the vendange@Le Clos Roche Blanche this year as Catherine had told me they might finish Tuesday (22nd). However, plans were changed and they have been picking the Côt today and won't be tackling the Cabernet until next week. So I won't be able to accuse them of returning to les vendanges à l'ancienne – picking early, so as to finish before the hunting season starts!

Here are some pictures from this morning of les vendangeurs picking the younger Côt, which was delicious to taste. Le Vieux Côt was due to be picked this afternoon.
