Loire Cabernet Franc from 2014

As it looks like Cabernet Franc is currently in vogue – headlining in the November 2015 edition of Decanter and 4th December has become Cabernet Franc Day, I thought it timely to post a few pics of Loire Cabernet Franc from the 2014 vintage.

Some 2014 Loire Cabernet Francs are already giving pleasure and I am sure this vintage will do so over many years to come.

Let us remember that Cabernet franc is the real cabernet, the original one, Cabernet Sauvignon being a crossing between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc.
Let us also remember that the origin of the family (the Carménets) is the Pyrénées, not Bordeaux nor the Loire.
