2013 Notre histoire, Bourgueil,

As is the case with all of Xavier Courant's wines the name comes from a fasmous French film. Notre histoire was released in 1984 and starred Alain Delon and Nathalie Baye.
The 2013 is a fine effort in a not easy vintage with attractive red fruits but quite noticeable acidity. It will surely be overshadowed by the 2014 version of Notre histoire.
