Vouvray: what has it done to deserve all this?!

Mini-tornado of 19.20h, 14.10.13 reported in La Nouvelle République
that blew off a roof and damaged another

17th June 2013: violent hailstorm @05.30 – roof still awaiting repair – 23.9.13
Estimated damage (not confirmed): 40% of AC Vouvray damaged between 80%-100%.
Correct figure will be clearer once vintage is over

31.5.2008: violent and prolonged storm during the afternoon
Impressive damage in the Vallée Chartier

31.5.2008: small van crushed by trees swept down by deluge
Owner narrowly escaped death

I begin to wonder what Vouvray and its surrounding communes have done to upset the gods as they appear to be subject to a succession of natural disasters. Perhaps some libations to the gods would appease them. Hopefully a human sacrifice will not be required!!
