London: The Eye and the Shard (JP's visit cont)

The London Eye

The Shard

This is the second post offering suggestions for the forthcoming visit to London by Jean-Pierre, a Loire vigneron. One of the suggestions in the first post was taking a bus tour round the tourist spots. Another way of getting to know London is to go on either the London Eye, near County Hall, or going up the recently opened Shard, for the moment the tallest building in London. Both are only really worth doing on a clear day.
