A wedding in Derbyshire

Groom and bride

Yesterday it was up to Derbyshire for a wedding of some old friends. We had debated which way to cross London given the possible Olympian style traffic jams. After having seen how quiet the roads in London have been over the last few days we headed straight through the centre. It was dead quiet rather like a Sunday morning! Perhaps if London hosted the Olympics permanently it would solve our traffic problems!

It looks like the weather wasn't too awful for the wedding - this has to be the worst summer in Derbyshire that I remember in years.

Jean. The rain held off for the photos but resumed when we were inside for the meal and then cleared up again later.
