Pancho Campo MW: update on investigations and legal actions
Daniel Li (CavesMaître, France + Chinese Castel), Robert Parker and Pancho Campo MW@WineFutureHK
Robert Parker's investigation
On 19th January 2012 Stephen A. Miller of Cozen O'Connor, who are conducting the investigation for Parker, contacted Harold Heckle and myself requesting copies of any documents we thought might be relevant to their investigation. The request arrived just before my departure for Millésime Bio in Montpellier. On my return we supplied Miller with copies of the emails regarding the visits to Vinos de Madrid, Murcia and Valencia along with copies of the post event documents: namely the 'Asevin' contract and the Presidential DO Vinos de Madrid paper.
IMW investigation
Neither of us have been contacted by the MWs charged to formally investigate the conduct of Pancho Campo MW and his organisation of tastings in Spain for the Wine Advocate.
Threatened legal action by Pancho Campo MW
In a news item on decanter.com entitled Jay Miller was 'about to retire' anyway, say colleagues published on 8th December 2011 Campo is quoted: ‘Campo said Miller’s resignation was ‘unfortunate timing’ but that he would continue his legal action against Jim Budd.’
Since I started reporting in early
September 2009 on Pancho Campo MW I have yet to receive any legal
communication from either Campo or his lawyers. It is, of course, possible
that the smooth functioning of the Royal Mail remains disrupted by the peak
demand of last Christmas.

Maybe the IMW does not have the mail address or phone number of 'This Blogger". You've become anonymous pour the Big Bugs, Jim...
Hervé. This may well be. Also Robert Parker alleges that I'm 'reluctant to talk'.
