New cancer report: better news

Following the scare report from the l'INCa put out in February, Hervé Lalou reports on his Chroniques Vineuses of a new study (canceralcool) that looked at 100,000 people in the Lorraine region of France over 25 years. It found that moderate wine drinking did not show evidence of a risk of increased mortality – not morality as I initially posted – but might be covered by a separate study in Alsace!

More details on Hervé’s site.

So you might die of cancer, but you'll be a better person :-)) (You might want to check your spelling Jim :-))

A Freudian slip?

Thanks Susan and Bob - pleased to see that some people are awake! Comes of trying to do too many thinks too fast.

Jim, is "thinks" another Freudian slip, or just a pun?

Bob - just another typo, although I could pretend it was a pun! Been drinking too much Sauvignon Blanc and not enough Chenin.

OK, rub it in Jim. Loire Sauvignon and Loire Chenin. Here in Maine, good versions of each can be tough to find. Whereas you can probably just walk out your door.

Not intentional Bob but all part of a moderate diet.
