A group being intronised into Les Bon Entonneurs Rabelaisiens, Chinon's confrerie in September 1992.I remember it was a long Sunday (avec modération, of course) and included tasting 1964 and 1947 at Couly-Dutheil – probably Clos de l'Echo – and also visiting another cellar and tasting other old vintage. Sadly the details are rather hazy now – they may not have been that clear the next morning either.
Although the photo is in colour my scanner seems to prefer black and white.
