London's proposed Garden Bridge is an expensive, corrupt nonsense

Two of 32 mature trees on the South Bank to be
felled to make way for the lunatic Garden Bridge

Now supposed to cost some £185 million to build a corporate events bridge – Garden Bridge –  over the Thames is fortunately facing increasing opposition. This is best expressed by Kate Hoey MP's speech at the House of Commons Adjournment Debate this week – 7th September 2016.

Unfortunately our new London Mayor – Sadiq Khan – appears to be happy for more of our tax payers money to be wasted on this vanity project rather than to take the right and brave step to pull the plug on this nonsensical project.
