Reading the Sunday edition of La Nouvelle République today I see the Syndicat des vins de Vouvray has a new director – Arnaud Tabary-Davisme, Directeur de l'ODG* de l’Aire d’Appellation Vouvray, who took up his new post at the beginning of August.
« A Vouvray, il y a une vraie histoire, et depuis longtemps. » Arnaud Tabary-Davisme est donc très motivé par sa nouvelle mission et amènera Vouvray encore plus loin, ici et ailleurs.

It is good to learn that Tabary-Davisme is motivated and ambitious to increase the fame and reputation of Vouvray. I hope he will have already concluded or soon will that excluding two of the Vouvray best producers – François Chidaine and Jacky Blot – is both idiotic and what appears to be an incorrect interpretation of the rules.
Given their reputations Vouvray needs François and Jacky more than they need Vouvray.
The blog Vouvray Inside reports that Tabary-Davisme, who hails from Touraine, has worked in Bordeaux, the Rhône Valley and in California's Napa Valley and knows the export market, particularly in English speaking countries.
