Fife: snow on Thursday

Snowy crags of Bishop's Hill overlooking Loch Leven

Overnight snow provided some wonderful fresh soft snow on Bishop's Hill above Kinesswood.

Looking down on the snowbound golf course

Snow on the hills but nothing on the flat

Loch Leven

Down towards the loch

The Fife coast beyond the snow

Large lemon meringue above the loch

I bet that lemon meringue made for interesting terrain to walk on.
We stayed in a little cottage on the shores of Loch Leven many years ago. I wonder if the place has changed much.

Hi Jean. It was lovely fresh soft snow. Tiring going up but safe going down with a bit of care.

Not sure whether it has changed all that much a few more houses but still a lot of farming land.
