Any chance of clarifying what has happened to Domaine Deletang and how it relates to Domaine Flamand-Deletang? You mentioned in an earlier post that Olivier Deletang had sold up recently. I have some of his 2002 and 2005 sec wines which I really like but I get the impression that towards the end of his tenure Olivier Deletang's reputation had been surpassed by the new blood coming into the appelllation.
A shame that there is not wider availability of these new wave of Montlouis wines in the UK as they can be very food friendly and not just restricted to subtle white meat/fish.
Many thanks
James
Olivier Deletang sold to Michel Antier, the largest invididual producer in Montlouis. I believe Antier continues to use the techique of 100% weedkiller at least in some if not all of his vineyards.
I need to visit Flamand-Deletang, which I think was part of the Deletang estate but split off in 2000.
