2011 Tour de France: Stage 7 – additional vigneron de l'etape: Pascal Janvier

Pascal Janvier: Jasnières and Coteaux du Loir
Today's stage into the Massif Central leaves the Loire vineyards behind for another year. The nearest Loire vineyard to the start of today's stage in Aigurande is Châteaumeillant at 36 km to the north east unfortunately too far to be able to provide a vigneron de l'étape. Yesterday's stage as well as passing through Touraine went through Jasnières and the Coteaux du Loir, so I'm able to chose another vigneron de l'étape.
My vigneron de l'étape 7 (parti du Loir) is Pascal Janvier, whose wines I discovered at this year's Vitiloire in Tours at the end of May. The Tour went through Pascal's village Ruillé-sur-Loir, so he is a natural choice. See my report on Pascal and Vitiloire here.
