The Winners: Bernard Jacob, PDG Ackerman-Rémy Pannier (XNoir);
Julien Pichoffand Damien Bonnabel (Findawine); and ...

Some of the judges including Fabrice Le Glatin, Marc Vanhellemont (chair and In Vino Veritas), Anne Sophie Lerouge (Interloire) and Antoine Gerbelle (La Revue du Vin de France).

Good report on the Concours on vinsurvin

Also I was much amused by the comments of Matthieu Turbide on Méchant Raisin, one of the shortlisted blogs:

Alors, congrats, my dear!'

Well done Jim - particularly for sticking by your taste in shirts and not buckling to award-ceremony convention! Seriously: well done.

Congratulations, Jim. Well done and deserved indeed.

Many thanks Tom and David but I would have to say that the presenation was very low key and nothing like the grandeur of the Roederer Awards, where you deservedly won Tom.
