Parkinson's Ride: heading to Pauillac

Bikes attached and we are ready to go!

Today we traveled from the Loire down to Pauillac using the ferry from Blaye to  Lamarque to get across the Gironde.

We start our ride from Pauillac to La Livinière on Monday 12th to raise money for Parkinson UK.  Our fundraising page is here and we are delighted that we have to date raised just under £3000 with gift aid and this before we have done even one serious pedal stroke, which starts from Monday morning. We are extremely grateful to our 50 donors. Fortunately there is still time for further donations to swell the total.

Our ride has been inspired by Fergus Henderson of St John Restaurant in London. Fergus has had Parkinson's since 1988.
