Café de la Promenade, Bourgueil

Pierre Pichot of Interloire has sent me a message about this recently restored bar à vins in Bourgueil close to Super U and not far from the exit of the A85 autoroute. It has a good list of Loire wines including producers like Luneau-Papin (Muscadet-de-Sèvre-et-Maine) and La Chevallerie (Bourgueil).

'Hello Jim

How are you doing?

I was in Bourgueil this day and a winemaker show me a nice place to have a drink with some charcuterie (homemade terrine...) its just between the super U and le centre of Bourgeuil.

Le café de la promenade
1 av du general de gaulle
Bourgueil

closed Tuesday & Wednesday

with good Loire wines

the funny thing you go by yourself in the cellar to pick the bottle you want to drink
and super cool people with a weather like today, that was so cool

they are refurbishing bedrooms, only one is ready yet, that gonna be great.

Regards

Pierre'
