Les Caslots (Domaine de la Chevalerie, Bourgueil) à la binette!

Pierre, Stéphanie and Emmanuel Caslot with their binettes

Every Wednesday (Les journées binette) from June to August the Caslot family (Domaine de la Chevalerie, Restingné, Bourgueil)invite people to come and help hoe between their vines. Details here. They claim it is a 'sceance de remise en forme en plein air'! Although this may well be true it is also likely to be hard work but probably fun.

à l'ancienne!
Might have been a film starring Jean Carmet!

Indeed Michel! Whenever there was a pause between photos Pierre was down to work with his binette hunting down the weeds.
