2010 Vieilles Vignes, Muscadet Sèvre et Maine, Les Grands Presbytères

2010 Vieilles Vignes, Muscadet S&M, Les Grands Presbytères, Nelly Marzelleau

This is another Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sent to me by Christophe Gadais of Gadais Père et Fils, although it comes from a different domaine and is made by Nelly Marzelleau. The 2010 has quite a saline character with good weight of fruit and texture but with more noticeable acidity than the 2011s recently tried. This is entirely in line with the differences between the two vintages. The Vieilles Vignes would be a good match with a plâteau fruits de mer.
