Also covers some recently published wine books – not just from Loire. Regional Chair for Loire @Decanter's World Wine Awards since its inception. James Alexander (Jimmy) Macintyre: house full of flowers

Recently I posted about my rather hairy flight to Inverness following the death of my father-in-law, James Alexander Macintyre at the age of 97. Yesterday was his funeral (subject of the next post). The response to his death has been remarkable with the family home full of flowers and many, many cards – the total is now over 230.

This post celebrates some of the bouquets of flowers that have been so kindly given.
