A few days in Cap d'Agde

The bridge@Millau

Heading south from the Loire yesterday for a brief sojourn in the Midi, staying in a flat at Cap d'Agde. Took the autoroute A71/A75 to come down, so crossed over the amazing bridge at Millau.

Have brought some Loire samples (especially La Tour Saint-Martin and Château de Petit Thouars) with me, so there will be notes on these wines plus I have plenty of other reports to write up.

Hope you are enjoying you visit to the south. We found the Millau bridge quite breathtaking. Sends tingles down my spine just thinking that we rode under it. Must go back for a second look. Did someone say it was designed by an Englishman? (Could be wrong)

Thanks Jean. The Millau Bridge was designed by Norman Foster.
