Brissac and Montreuil-Bellay: photos

Château de Brissac

The small town of Brissac-Quincé is both the centre of the Coteaux de l'Aubance appellation andgives its name to the sub-zone of AC Anjou-Villages Brissac as many of the best Anjou reds come from the Brissac area.

Château and town of Montreuil-Bellay

Château de Montreuil-Bellay

Wine-wise Montreuil-Bellay is best known for its wine school, which trains many of the local producers. The château that overlooks the River Thouet is a jewel.
