2017 Les Hauts Lieux, Sauvignon Blanc,
AOP Touraine, Famille Bougrier

Another example of a 2017 Loire continuing to underline that this is a good vintage, even though quantities will often be sharply down for many producers due to the 2017 April frosts. This ripe Touraine Sauvignon Blanc is attractively citric with grapefruit notes and with some length.

Bougrier, headed by Noël Bougrier, is a significant Loire négociant based in Saint-Georges-sur-Cher where this cuvée is vinified in their winery. Bougrier has a number of wineries in the Loire including one in Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine.
