A reflective glass of red
As rain is now making picking the later varieties in the Loire – Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon along with Chenin Blanc – we thought it was time to post a few photos taken by CRM from the 2009 vintage, an altogether more cheerful vintage except for those unfortunates in eastern Touraine and parts of the Central Vineyards whose crop was devastated by successive hailstorms.
The photos come from Sancerre, Quincy, Montpoupon, Epeigné-les-Bois and Le Puy Notre Dame.
