  1. Grrrr. I envy you, Senhor Budd, if you’re actually there. Lisboa is one of the cities I prefer, and I haven’t been there for a decade. I keep promising Christine we’ll spend our next holiday in Portugal. (Problem is, we haven’t had holidays for 7 years now.)
    The Alfama district was very much in need of renovation and I suppose the job has progressed since then. Do people still resort to public baths and showers, as they usually did ?

    There this wee Portuguese grocer’s in Perpignan. I toddle straight off to treat Christine & myself to a few – deep-frozen – pasteis de nata!
