Les 5 du Vin clock up 100,000 visits

Masthead of Les 5 du Vin

Yesterday our cooperative blog – Les 5 du Vin – notched up its 100,000th visit since its launch on 6th February 2010. Although our readership has grown slowly but steadily since the launch we are very encouraged to see it accelerate since the autumn of last year with nearly 30,000 visits since the beginning of October. If this continues we will pass the 200,000 in much less time than it took to reach our first 100K.

Each of Les 5 – David Cobbold, Hervé Lalau, Michel Smith, Marc Vanhellemont and myself have our specified day of the week to post. We now have a guest writer on Saturday – Franco Ziliani was our first guest last week. This Saturday Lincoln Siliakus will be our guest. Michel Smith has colonised (benevolently) the Sunday spot with his series on Carignan.
My post-day is Tuesday. This week I ask 'Why does wine provoke such conflict?'
