There's a red house over yonder
Although there was torrential rain in parts of the Scottish mainland (A9 near Inverness part closed due to standing water at one time) we were pretty well treated by the weather. It was a fine day until late afternoon.
We spent the morning exploring more of North Uist before taking the ferry from Berneray to Leverburgh.
Fine old school building now a private home – one of the few stone buildings around – many North Uist buildings have an unattractive grey/beige harled finish
