Pauillac – famed for its wine yes but tomatoes, too!

Small venetians or rubis

World renowned for the quality of its wines, Pauillac also produces some equally fine tomatoes – something known only to a few. Driving past town houses in central Pauillac one wouldn't guess that behind the firmly bolted doors, many have splendid, secluded gardens. Home not only to flowers but also a place where a variety of vegetables thrive none more so than the tomato – perfectly adapted to le terroir.
