1855 (1855.com): Jim's Loire offers new service (cont)

Château Duhart-Milon (owned by Domaines Barons de Rothschild)

En primeur ordered from 1855 and known to be outstanding:

30 bottles of 2005

24 bottles of 2006 plus 3 magnums

Château Duhart-Milon

Emeric Sauty de Chalon, Thierry Maincent* and Fabien Hyon are the senior 'management' team of 1855 (1855.com, 1855.con). Businessman Jean-Pierre Meyers, who is on the boards of L'Oreal and Nestlé, is a long-term shareholder of 1855. 1855 is a probationary member of La Fevadsee also.

Given how long some of 1855's customers have to wait for their wine, this sepia effect may be more appropriate!

* Maincent resigned as administrateur and as a directeur général délégué on 30th September 2010 for personal reasons.

  1. FYI, Thierry Maincent is no more manager of 1855, he left the company last year

  2. Anon. If that is indeed the case this would appear to be news to 1855. Please see: http://capital.1855.com/?p=conseil-administration

He is listed as their Directeur Général Délégué
