Circle of Wine Writers annual dinner@National Café, London

Pre-dinner drinks
The annual Circle dinner this year celebrating the 50th anniversary of the founding of the organisation was held in the National Café, attached to the National Gallery in London. The wines were provided by the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux. My favourite was the 1996 Château Lynch Bages, Pauillac.
