La Ferme du Príeuré, Pocé-sur-Cisse

 La Ferme du Príeuré

Yesterday we had to go to collect the duck we had ordered from La Ferme du Prieuré, which is just beyond the outskirts of Amboise. The address is Pocé-sur-Cisse but La Ferme is well south of the main village and it has almost been swallowed up by the industrial zone of greater Amboise. The duck was very flavoursome and worth the journey.

  2. Frank – just plain roasted it in a hot oven. We drank a 1997 Le Grand Clos Saumur-Champigny from Château de Villeneuve.
