Tasting Loire@Liberty Wines

A busy day tasting today: first at the Oval Cricket Ground with the Liberty Wines event and then across London to another famous cricket ground, Lords, and the French Association of Independent Wine Growers (Vigneron Independant). On both occasions there was a wide range of wines to taste but I focused purely on the Loire.

I will be posting on these tastings in the next few days but first some photos of Loire producers from the Liberty event.

Philippe Günther, Château du Coing de Saint-Fiacre, Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine

Monieck van der Eijk, export manager for Vignerons de France – representing the Vignerons de Valençay

Sébastien Vaillant with Moniek

Sébastien Vaillant (Valençay)

Nicolas Girard – Domaine Nicolas Girard and Domaine des Brosses (Sancerre)

David Sautereau (Domaine Sautereau, Sancerre)

Katia Mauroy Gauliez (Domaine de Bell Air, Pouilly-Fumé)

Julien Fournier (Domaine FL, Anjou)

Château du Coing de Saint-Fiacre...one of my go-to Muskys, along with the rest of the famous family Chereau-Carre.
