BT 6 – Nuisance calls 0? – BT launch BT Call Protect

Today BT has launched BT Call Protect, which sounds like a really useful product as it should severely cut down on nuisance calls. By signing up to this service you can benefit from BT's Black List of nuisance call numbers. BT Call Protect is available to BT customers.

You can also set up your own personal list of blocked callers. To do this put phone down on nuisance caller. Pick the phone up again and dial 1572. You will be taken through the necessary steps to add this number to your own personal blacklist. If BT sees a particular number being frequently added to individual's personal blacklist it will be added to BT's blocked number list. 

If BT Call Protect works this should drastically cut back on the number of people who fall for investments etc. sold by boiler rooms through nuisance calls.
