Netta Macintyre, CRM's mum, is 91 years young today. True to form she insisted on making her famous Scotch pancakes before she left on the bus to go down to Kinross and then onto Edinburgh for a reception held by the Rev Dr Angus Morrison, who is the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland for 2015. Netta also just had time to cut her birthday cake before departing southwards.
Just one candle to keep the cake uncluttered
