25th January is Burns Night – time for the traditional meal of haggis, neeps (swede) and patties. This year we had a horizontal tasting of two haggi – one from local butcher in Kingussie: Donald Gilmour and the other the famous make – MacSween.
Although both were very good, we all agreed that the preferred the one from the local butcher in Kingussie. We thought it was fine and more delicately spiced.
